Katie Scovic

Katie is a project manager focused on helping local communities and organizations tackle big social issues. Her experience stretches across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and her areas of expertise include housing and homelessness, community development, and strategic communications. Whether implementing a first-of-its-kind public-private partnership to address homelessness in Anchorage or managing a statewide effort to ensure Alaskans were counted in the 2020 Census, Katie thrives when turning complex problems into tangible solutions. Her work is driven by the belief that evidence-based policy, clear communications, and people-first design can improve everyday lives, and that partnership is how we get things done. Katie originally hails from Chicago, where she received a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University, and she now resides in Anchorage.
