Michelle Bowlds brings a creative and analytical approach to economic development to make a positive impact in communities across Alaska. Born and raised in Anchorage, Michelle worked across the state supporting private, public and tribal organizations to make informed and forward-looking decisions. With a diverse background, she takes a comprehensive approach to problem solving, focusing both on rigorous analysis and effective communications. After earning a business degree from Northern Arizona University and getting some job experience under her belt, she went back to school to get a master’s degree in supply chain management from the University of Anchorage Alaska and continued to expand her tool set with a certificate in project management from Georgetown University.
