Heather’s urban and regional planning education and local Alaska experience combine with her passion to cultivate healthy, vibrant places for people to live, work and play. From long-range planning to zoning code revisions or communications projects, Heather pursues an in-depth understanding of the issues and focuses on practical solutions. Heather often works closely with municipal staff and a diverse array of stakeholders to better understand and reach consensus on priority issues, and to then identify feasible alternatives to address them. As a highly organized project manager, she keeps projects moving in a well-ordered way while maintaining the broad overview of a trained community planner.
