Agnew::Beck traveled with community members from Kivalina and Kongiganak to Summit Consulting Services’ headquarters outside Tok, Alaska as part of the Alaska Water and Sewer Challenge. As part of the current Phase III, Summit is building and testing a prototype in-home water and sanitation system in a model village home. A key feature of the system is water reuse for washing purposes. Agnew::Beck is supporting Summit to engage end users in the design of the system. The purpose of the site visit was for end users to check out the system in first person for the first time and weigh in on what they thought would work and not work.
