In 2014, Agnew::Beck worked with the Alaska Center of Nursing Excellence to develop a strategic communications plan. The plan provides a framework for identifying key audiences and issues of importance, messages and actions that address these issues, and tools for sharing messages and carrying out actions.
As part of this project we developed a responsive, WordPress based website (akcenterofnursing.org). The Center of Nursing Excellence was struggling with establishing a unified brand, was lacking a comprehensive communication strategy and did not have a clear idea of the role the website was to play in their organization. Initial planning and stakeholder meetings were critical to establishing a strategic vision and program for the website, and in prioritizing the functionality of the website. In addition, Agnew::Beck developed marketing materials for the Center to help recruit members and promote their mission and vision.
